I have been blessed...

Today I am just feeling so blessed. I was looking through pictures of Jason & me and pictures of our families at our wedding and I just feel so lucky!

I have the most amazing people in my life! From the best husband in the world to our two awesome families- and extended families, and so many amazing friends.

We are so lucky! I love having 4 beautiful sisters and 3 younger brothers now! It has been so fun to be out here in Tennessee with Jason- and it's been awesome to have Josh here because he's part of my family too- and makes me not feel so homesick.
I really just feel like I could not ask for anything more.

Yesterday was Monica's birthday and Father's Day- so I missed two important things at my house. My mom made an awesome cheerleading pom-pom cake for Monica and I was so glad that Monica texted me a picture. I wish that I could've been there. I really think that Monica is one of the most amazing people in the world. She is so pretty and smart- but I think the most important thing is that she is so nice to everyone. She just seems to be really good at taking care of people- and animals of course too. She gets along with people who are older and younger than her and sets a great example for all of us. She is by far the most talented person I know. She is so good at gymnastics and cheering and she draws well and sings amazing. She does her hair and makeup better than I ever have and dresses better than any teenager I know. Sometimes I wish I could go back to being her age so that I'd work harder at all of those things and get better at them. And- of course Monica was the cutest little girl I have ever seen. Honestly. She was perfect and so so pretty- I'm so glad she's my little sister!
I know that on Father's Day I'm usually not great at letting my dad know how much I appreciate him, but I really do think I have the best dad in the world. I remember when I first started out at Utah State I talked to him almost every day on the phone and I would not have survived that first year without him. He's always the one who's helped me register for classes and pay for all of the things that I needed and just wanted. Every time my bank account was running low he would be there to fill it back up- and I know that just sounds spoiled of me, but I really do and always have appreciated that. He's always given me the oppotunities and money for anything I've ever wanted to do and I know my whole life would be different without him. He knows how to solve any problem I've ever had and I love listening to his advice.
THANKS DAD!

Saturday Noelle and I and baby Emrie went to the mall. We shopped for five hours!... and then just came back to the office and talked till our husbands got home. I feel so lucky to have other wives out here to hang out with. I know I would go crazy without them!

Another blessing- I LOVE OUR CHURCH! Everything about it is amazing. Yesterday we went to our Bartlett ward of course and it was so amazing! I love it. The spirit was so strong and can be with us so strong- no matter where we are in the world. Right out the window in Sunday school was the shiny white Memphis, Tennessee temple! We are so lucky!

After church Jason and I packed some peanut butter & jelly sandwiches and drove to Arkansas. I was so sad when I saw some of the houses that people are living in! In America! It's not like we were in another country (even though it seemed like it) or anything! We are so lucky to have so many opportunities in our lives. I honestly feel like I could do anything in the world that I want to-if I just make the effort-that's so lucky! Except, I don't think it has anything to do with luck. I know that Heavenly Father loves us and has blessed us with it all.

I just feel thankful that He has.
