* ~ * Memphis Madness *~ *

We've actually been doing so many fun things lately... now that I'm getting ready to leave :( and I DO NOT want to go. I have met so many amazing people out here. I LOVE how friendly everyone is. You can't even go to the grocery store without someone striking up a conversation and it makes me wonder why all of us aren't like that all the time. I've LOVED living next to the temple and I've loved this ward more than any before... well... except our Aggie Village ward. I've loved just being able to hang out with Noelle and Emrie anytime that we feel like it too! I'm getting so used to having no responsibility... or stress.... and I am getting so sad to leave all of it. Especially when I know we'll probably never be back. So... here's a new summary of our summer and some of the things I've loved!

I've loved making new friends and going new places!

We went with some of our friends to a place called "Rendezvous" downtown near Beale Streeet-

they have awesome ribs. I guess.

The place looks kindof kindof ghetto, but it was alot of fun.

We love hanging out with these guys!

We went to Graceland just a couple weeks ago... and I must admit, it was pretty awesome.

The pictures pretty much
explain it all. :)

We went and rode a riverboat on the Mississippi River last weekend and it was soooooo HOT! and cool. I love hanging out with Jason. It doesn't even matter what we're doing. We learned alot about Memphis and it was reeeeeally interesting. I think our tour guide was kindof drunk.

We were trying to take a picture of us together on the back of the boat, where you could see the propellers and a guy walked by and offered to take it instead... and this is how it turned out. Cute... but no evidence that we're actually ON A BOAT! :)

Oh well. :)
While in Memphis... do as the Memphisians :) do... Eat Greasy. That's mostly all we've done all summer. We had our APX friends over for some scones one night... and made greasy crepes and pancakes another. Bowdrie taught me how to make his german... or scottish... or... some kind of pancakes. They were SO good!

And we've probably gone out to eat at least three times a week. GROSS! But I love it! Our latest discovery is Backyard Burgers... also very greasy... and so so good. I will miss it when we get back to Utah.
The pictures can't even show how much I really love greasy food.

Almost as much as I love Jason.

Jason just doesn't understand.

But HONESTLY, and I'm not just trying to sound great...

I have love love loved the temple here.

I have learned so much this summer and have gained a new love

and appreciation for the church and our temples.

the list is still going....

there's alot that I love about

Tennessee.
I've loved just driving through the city.

I think it's so fun to see and live in different places!

But MOST OF ALLLLLLLL I love Jason. This has been one of the best summers of my life... because I'm with the best person. He's amazing and I'm so happy that we get to experience all of this stuff together! THE END! :) finally.
