I'm Hooked...
Okay, so I ignored what everyone said about the Twilight books being so amazing. I thought... yeah, they probably are. .. but I really don't have time for anything- let alone reading- or getting hooked to a series of books. They may be good books, but not THAT good that they'd be worth my precious time. Well, guess what, THEY ARE! My little sister Monica let me borrow her book... and because I actually finally had the book I decided I better read it. I can't even tell you what it is that's so amazing about these books- but I LOVE THEM! I started reading, asked Jason to read it too- so I could talk to him about it- and as soon as he did he couldn't put it down either! So we had to go buy another Twilight so we could both read it at the same time. Now Jason's even ahead of me!! I am getting SO excited for the movie. So- we started reading them awhile ago but the reason I finally posted about it is because today in Kindergarten, one of my little kids came up (just totally out of the blue) and was like, "Mrs. Corbridge.... Edward, Jasper, Rosalie, Bella, Carlisle, Jacob!" I was so confused!! I asked her how she knew those names- and she's was just shrugged her shoulders and skipped away! K- so I might just add that Jason and I are getting pretty into the vampire thing, so I'm like wow! We really are vampires! She knows! JK :) No but really, I followed her across the room as she continues to twirl around and say "Mrs. Corbridge, ESME! ALICE! Rosalie is the BEAUTY! And Alice has spiky hair! and James..." anyway- come to find out her TEN year old neighbor is reading the book- or has the movie on her computer or SOMETHING! She just learned all about it from her neighbor. It was so weird how much she knew though. WOW. You've created quite the phenomenon when Kindergarteners can't stop thinking about your book either!

Welcome to the club! That is so funny about your little kidergartener knowing all about twilight. I thought the same as you... I won't get so obsessed about something like this. But I did. Shaun started to wonder what I was loving more than him. lol jk It must be hard to be in the middle of reading those books while you are a busy teacher.
There is a website, twilightmoms.com, that offers support! It said, "If you have piles of laundry all over your house and no clean dishes and your family is sick of eating take out pizza every night... you're not alone!" lol that was seriously my life. I would read when I woke up at night to feed Lincoln and I would forget to go back to bed for about 3 hours when he was done eating. Good Luck! :)
Yay you've started to read the books!!!! They really are addicting. I just can't believe you got Jason to read them too! how did you do that?! Andrew said the movie looks good, at least! But now I'm really gonna try to get him to read them!
I am so glad that you converted to Twilight! I told you over and over that you needed to read them and finally!!!! I can't wait for the movie!!! How are you? I want to see you guys again soon!
