So... we set up our Christmas tree- and it stood empty in our front room for about a week and a half... because I could never find ornaments at the store that I liked. Are you wondering why I'm looking to buy new ornaments... even though we clearly bought them last year for our tree? Well... we lost ALL of our ornaments and lights and everything from last year. Don't even ask me how... because I don't know. It's not like our house is that big!! It's tiny! And everything we have for each holiday is organized into its own plastic bin... so when I opened the red and green box to find NOTHING that I needed for my tree, I was a little confused. Now that we've pretty much checked everywhere in our house with no luck we've decided that Jason probably put the stuff away last year... which means we won't ever find it until he remember where he put it... which means we'll probably never find them... one of Jason's best qualities is not his memory. I worry sometimes that he'll forget who I am! JK. Really though, now he's starting to wonder if he threw them away. :) No one better say anything to him about his memory. :) He's not that bad. And honestly, I could've been the one to put them away... I just don't usually forget things. ;) ANYWAY- that was way too much writing for such an unexciting story- BUT- I ended up getting silver ornaments with Jason one night- then going home without an accent color because it was too hard to decide on a color. The next day I went to the dentist and then... after finding out I had a cavity... went to Hobby Lobby, cried in the car in the parking lot, and then to make myself feel better I bought pink ornaments
to accent the tree. When Jason got home he said it was okay- because it made me feel better. AND, it does. I love our happy little pink and silver tree. :)
