Visitors :)

I LOVE MY FAMILY! Seriously. So much.
My mom, Monica, and Travis were able to come spend a few days with us during their Spring Break and we loved having them.
We went out to eat on my Travis and my Dad's birthday and it was so fun to spend time with everyone.
I guess I should figure that since I'm 26 and have a kid it's okay for everyone to be getting older,
but I still can't believe it.  Travis is 14!!!

We had fun watching them both open their gifts and had a couple good laughs over Travis and his "embarrassing" (they really weren't, but he thought they were) birthday presents.

My mom has been swamped with work and conferences and things so she had Travis and my dad make their own birthday cakes this year :)
(If you know my mom you know this about killed her- she ALWAYS makes us incredible cakes for our birthdays... she still even makes them for me and I'm married.)
These cakes were darling though too and fun to make :)
We made little Twinkie race cars because we'll be going to Miller Motor Sports Park in a few weeks to celebrate their birthday some more.

Later that night Travis, Jason, and Ty had fun playing catch
.

The weather was actually pretty nice while they were here and Monica took Ty outside one day to play with some sidewalk chalk :)

(I promise I dressed him cute that day- we didn't want his shirt to get all chalky so he only has his white onsie on in the pics-sorry :)

Of course I had to join them.

It is always fun to have Monica at our house because she tries to make me look cute every once in awhile- thus my fancy schmancy hair in the chalk pictures :)
Obviously she has some mad photo skills as well.  She's pretty much perfect at everything she does.
My mom watched Ty one night while Jason, Monica, Travis, and I
went bowling and we've decided to make bowling a Logan tradition.
It was so much fun.
[ bowling photos go here if I ever get them from J's phone:) ]
I am SOOOO thankful for the many times that my mom has taken care of Ty
so that I can get out and relax for awhile.

My mom also spent hours making darling little Easter treat bags to deliver to people who were in the hospital over Easter.  When she was little she was in the hospital over Easter one time and someone brought her a little Easter egg with a fake chick inside-and she never forgot- so she's always wanted to do something like that to help other people.  She is ALWAYS doing things to help make other people's lives better.

She even let Travis and Ty and me go with her to the hospital to drop the bags off and it really was such a good experience.  I am so thankful to have such an INCREDIBLE mom to look up to.

Somewhere in the middle of everything I made journals (technically "decorated journals") for the kids in our primary class.  It was pretty easy but I liked how they turned out... and our class of 10,11, & 12 year olds seemed to like them on Sunday.

The rest of the time we just hung out.

My dad drove back up to Logan to pick up the family and we went out to eat at Olive Garden-thanks dad :) and had a fun time there as well.

Then my oldest (still younger) sister Samantha stayed with us for a few days.
We went shopping, made bracelets, made cute wooden blocks for Sam's work, and stayed up way too late every night watching movies and talking.

I loved just spending time with Samantha.
It is good when some of your best friends are your sisters. :)
I'm so mad I didn't get any pictures with her though!!

Ty LOVED having visitors and misses them so much already...
this is demonstrated by the fact that every time we move to a new room during the day now,
or out to the garage to get in the car and go somewhere,
or even if we look out the window
Ty starts screaming Tra Tra, Mon iiii,
and Grandma and Samantha
(those 2 never sound exactly the same, but you can tell when he's saying either of them.)
I'm so glad that Ty loves all of his family... and so thankful for all the love they give to him.
We miss all of you already and can't wait for you to visit again soon!

Happy birthday! I am so glad you had so much fun with your family there. That Is quite amazing that your mom didn't make birthday cakes! Good thing you were there to do it cuz you are just as creative.

I also just read your post about your perfect day... I am so glad you are coming to realize how pretty and amazing you are. I don't understand how such a perfect girl can be so hard on herself! You deserve to feel like that everyday! Miss you!
