This has been such a great summer!
We have been having tons of fun-and I feel like we're only getting started.
I live for holidays... and the 4th and 24th of July are some of my favorites.
We spent time in Logan this year for the fireworks on the 2nd (ish?) of July,
then went over to Malad to be with Jason's family on the 4th
and
then to Bountiful for the 24th of July with my family.
And loved every second of it.
Something that I always want to remember:
Watching the fireworks with Ty CLINGING to my shoulder, or arm,
or anything he could wrap himself around.
His little legs were just shaking he was so scared- and I was watching fireworks
and realized this is what has been missing from fireworks for the last... mmm... 15 years.
I think once I grew out of the magical little kid stage
I was always wanting that "magic" of fireworks back.
I never really knew what was missing-but I was always just a little disappointed while I was looking up at the fireworks every year. They were fun, but never like I remembered or hoped for.
Then when I was holding Ty watching the fireworks it all of the sudden was.
IT WAS JUST PERFECT!!
There is NOTHING like seeing a child experience something for the first time.
Totally magic.
And I LOVE it. :)

WOW! I am dying at how stinkin' cute and grown up Ty is!!! How did that happen so fast?? I just wanna hug that cutie! Glad you guys are doing well. We miss the Corbies! :)
I just read through the last five or so posts on your blog. I haven't visited for awhile. I forgot you went private and it doesn't update on my blog page when you write a new one anymore. I will visit more often now that I recall that.
Your Ty is such a beautiful boy! Your summer of fun with him has been amazing! The photos are so great. I love the family pix Monica took. She did a great job, but when you have such a photogenic group, how could she fail!?
Thank you so much for coming to Kevin's wedding reception at the end of June. It was so good to see you, your Mom, Ty and Travis too. You are and have the best family! Thanks for being such good friends!
