The Greatest Great Grandparents

My grandparents came to visit us about a month ago and we enjoyed every second of having them here. We went to our ward bbq, played games, watched the movie "17 Miracles" and just enjoyed their company.  I am so thankful to have such amazing grandparents.  They set a perfect example for me and my family in everything they do.  Some of my very favorite memories from when I was little are when I would go stay at my Grandma and Grandpa Tobler's house.  I am just as comfortable with my grandma as I am with my mom- and that's how it has always been.  She's the only person whose house I would even sleep at as a kid- and she is one of my best friends.  This past year and a half, Ty and I have been able to visit my grandparents and I feel like I have even grown so much closer to both of my grandparents. Everytime we're with them Ty just follows their every move.  My grandpa would push Ty around in his stroller all around their house pretending to see all kinds of things (trains, donkeys, etc.) and make all the sounds for each. : ) I think he does a great job of keeping Ty entertained.  My grandma made a beautiful white afghan for Ty when he was born and we used it at his blessing- and it is the soft blanket that I rock him to sleep with every night before I put him to bed.  When we were watching 17 Miracles at our house this last time my grandpa had Ty laughing so hard that tears were streaming down his face.  I've never ever seen him laugh so hard. : ) Jason posted on facebook that night that he's sure Ty and my Grandpa Tobler have been friends for a long time- and I agree.  I think we all have.  My Grandma and Grandpa Tobler are two AMAZING people and I am so thankful to have them as my grandparents- and the GREATEST great-grandparents for Ty. :)
