I don't know if it's because they were my first real obsession as a teenager- or that I SWEAR they have the BEST chemistry out of any 2 people I've ever seen together in a movie, but I honestly love Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio together! Yes, the excitement of this has only been heightened by the Golden Globes- but it is something that I've always thought randomly about anyway. I saw Titanic 7 times in the movie theater. SEVEN! when I was like 12. What a dork. And- as I'm writing this I'm thinking about what a dork I still am to obviously still be so obsessed with them. But... either way, I am. It's not like I'm the only one who ever liked it right?! The funny thing is that Leo DiCaprio was never the one I was obsessed with. I love Kate Winslet! Honestly, I don't think that she is the prettiest person I've ever seen... well, at least by the standards I'd usually think of... but for some reason I just think she is so PRETTY! and her whole personality... she really is just one of my favorites. I just think she's amazing. Before I go off for too long let me clarify that by "she" I mean the her that I know from Titanic (ha)... and other than that really don't do much research on her personal life- the difference she makes in the world- her standards- etc. but... I like the people that I've seen her play in movies- and I think she plays the roles well. Anyway, that was a long post about nothing except the excitement of two people that I think should just get married and live happily ever after... in my still seemingly 13 year old mind. I just want you to know that I'm nervous to even post this now because of all the criticism I've seen on blogs lately. Wow. Let's just let everyone be themselves. We ALL have flaws... do/like weird things... this would be one of mine. :) So... I'm posting it. and ... no one better make fun of me! OH.... p.s. since we have no sound on channel 5 I missed anything that anyone said on the Golden Globes- so Jason found Kate's awards on YouTube AND she told Leo she loved him. I am so satisfied. Yet torn. She has a husband... but I swear she loves Jack! wait... Leo. jk. Really though. They are so in love. :) UGGHHH!

Haha! I love this post! I would have to agree with you that they should be married! I watched her award speech too and I was like wow... did she just say how much she loves Leo and just barley thanked her husband? Funny... She is beautiful and I've always loved her too. I love her in The Holiday I think most of all. She is such a great actress!
I have never loved you more than I do right now. I also think they should just get married and live happily ever after... She could to to her husband what we planned to do to Unice!! ;)
You are so funny! I'm glad that you aren't afraid to just be yourself and say how you feel. But I totally agree. Titanic wouldn't have been the movie it is without these two! I was obsessed with Leo! I know- I'm a dork , but I still think he is SO HOT! Those two together though, they are awesome! They are in a new movie together. I saw the previews and thought I have to see this! I think it's rated R though. But I love watching them together. They might be my fave love story ...except the notebook.

Winslet is in the U.K. promoting the movie "Revolutionary Road," which Mendes directed. The film reunites her with her "Titanic" co-star and longtime friend DiCaprio.
The duo's reunion more than a decade after the melodramatic blockbuster was hotly anticipated, and both have been peppered with questions over whether their on-screen chemistry is still as strong.
Winslet told Britain's GMTV Monday that DiCaprio "feels more like my husband than my real husband, I have to say. I'm talking about him so much!"

Giiiiirl i was like totally obsessed with Titanic too! however, i did not watch it 7 times in the theater like you :) LOL i did cry though the first 2 times I watched it, and i think that movie was a turning point for me, seriously i was determined to marry a white boy with blond hair and blue eyes!!! what a dork, and as you can see i married my Levi with blond/blue qualifications haha. congrats on the 2 years! your wedding pics are flawless. such an adorable couple! you are right about the chemistry between Kate & Leo. i love that you actually posted it though, heehee i am still smiling about it.
