Ch Ch Ch Changes...

Well... it's been awhile.  I don't know why I'm not so into the blogging thing anymore but I'm not... I think the "nesting" part of being pregnant hit me right as we moved into our new house and it hasn't left me since.  It's driving me nuts!! I just want to be able to relax and I can't... but I still feel like I'm not getting anything done either.  I feel like I've got so much to do and I have to do it FAST because my stomach just keeps growing and growing and that only means our baby is getting closer to coming.

I haven't even posted anything besides baby stuff since we've been back for the summer... so... here is a HUGE update... (maybe this is why I've been avoiding the blog... I can already tell this is gonna take forever.)

So many things have changed in our lives over the last 6 months... some being...

We moved back from California.  SERIOUSLY, SUCH a FUN summer!!! I think I blogged about most of it but here are some pics from when my family came and when Jason and his brothers went to see a 49er's game.

I really think I have the cutest husband in the WORLD!!
He LOVES the 49er's and I'm glad he got to watch them play.

Other happenings...
My mom turned 45...  and still looks better than I do.  Monica made her a way cute birthday cake and Travis made her a giant pancake :)  because my mom's favorite foods are usually breakfast ones. :)

I turned 25! Wahoo! I feel so grown up... but not.  My mom made me a perfect cake (as usual) and it was the only thing that I could eat without throwing up for quite awhile.  I remember when my mom took a picture of me on my birthday that I was trying to hide my stomache and all worried about looking fat in the pictures... HA!!! NOW WHAT?!! :)

I started teaching Kindergarten for my 3rd year and it has already been SOOO much easier than the last two.  I love both of my classes and it's nice to have files from the last 2 years to pull from when I'm doing all of my planning.

Jason's started his last semester of his Bachelors program at USU and graduated in December... he didn't even want to walk though... so we have no pictures.  He's planning on starting the masters program in the fall.  I'm glad because I love Utah State and as long as Jason's a student here I get to reap all of the benefits (basketball games, activities, student discounts, etc.)   :)

We moved out of here....

and bought and moved into a new townhome.
We love our house and everything about it, but surprisingly enough I have been feeling homesick every single day for Aggie Village... WHAT?! I know. I think I was just finally comfortable there and it was my home.  More than anything I miss the people that we met and the experiences we had while we lived there. :(  Yesterday while we were eating lunch I told Jason that for the first time I actually felt like I was "home" here... so hopefully we're making some progress.

We just happen to have one pic that Jason just took one night when we were having a Christmas party... it doesn't show the house too well though... I know I still need more...

Which leads to... we finally had a party at our house.  I am not so great at hosting things... so I usually don't.  But we were missing our friends from our old ward and so we decided it was about time that we took the turn for the party.  We had a "Polar Express Pajamma Party".  We ate crepes and made gingerbread houses and watched the Polar Express.  We were so impressed by the gingerbread house making skills that our friends had and were so glad that we could get together!

Next big change... Jason got a job working for AT&T.
He loves being able to help people with their phones and I know he's enjoying having the customers come to him instead of knocking on a million doors every day.  Everyone just goes on and on about how helpful he is and I'm glad that he gets to come home every day now with good stories about helping people instead of stories about doors getting slammed in his face.  It just kinda makes everything a little less stressful, ya know?

One thing I'm not loving though is that he only gets Sundays and one other rotating day off a week- never Saturdays.  I've missed being able to see our families as much and doing fun things over the weekends.  Now that Jason's working and I'm in psycho nesting mode I feel like I'm doing all of the dishes and laundry and cleaning that he used to help with when he was going to school and I was working (even though I'm sure it's not as bad as I think)... He is also bringing in alot of extra money and awesome insurance so that I don't have to work next year and can stay home with our baby if I want to... so I know I should not complain. And P.S... he still helps more than I know he even "should".

Change #?...I'm huge.
Seriously.  I thought everything was going okay for awhile but now I feel like my face, feet, and fingers look SOOOOOO swollen.  It's not attractive. Picture to prove the point.

I'm not usually too photogenic anyway but it makes it even worse when you're pregnant... how the heck am I supposed to stand so that you can actually see the bump... and where do my arms go? OBVIOUSLY... I have not yet figured that out. :)

Our baby is SO wiggly now and I love feeling him move around and punch/kick me.  Sometimes he's so strong that when I'm sitting down and he kicks my ribs it makes me sit up just from the force of whatever he's hitting me with.  The other day I recorded my stomach just bursting out in little bumps all over as he wiggled around.  It's a pretty cool thing to see (and feel).  Today I could touch the side of my stomach and feel him for a long time... like I was touching his head or something and it made me so excited to finally get to hold him.  Only a couple more months!!! :)

More changes... even though our baby still doesn't have a name....
He now has a stroller, car seat, pack 'n' play, bedroom set, bedroom decorations, crib, and TONS and TONS of clothes.  The room isn't finished yet... let's just be honest... I haven't even started it... but as soon as the crib and bedroom accents get here that will be my next exciting project.

Other than that I guess pretty much everything has been the same.  We did get called to be primary teachers for one of the 5 year old classes in our new ward (surprise).  Who wouldn't want to spend ALLLLL week surrounded by a million 5 year olds? :)

And we're just getting more and more excited for our baby to come.  It's hard to be focused on anything else right now!!! :) I'm already getting so excited to stay in Utah this summer and for all of the fun times that we'll get to have with our new little guy.

Anyway... thanks for reading... or at least looking at the pics.
Just think,  I'll either get better at blogging smaller posts more often
or
you won't have to read another one of these giant posts for another 6 months :)

Tiff, I'm so glad to see you updated! I was just asking Shane if he'd talked to Jason lately. I think you look so great pregnant! I don't see any swelling at all!! Reading about watching your stomach move around made me miss that so much! Isn't it the coolest thing? I'm excited to hear what you guys decide to name him (the hardest part I swear!), and to see his nursery all put together. And I just LOVED your idea of a Polar Express themed party. SO cute!! I hope we can see you guys sooner than later, we really miss hanging out!! Love ya!:)

You look amazing, stop being paranoid about being fat. it is all in the fun of being prego just enjoy your tummy. it will go away one day, promise. I am so excited that you are staying in Utah too. I really want to plan a big party or something this summer (maybe a BBQ) so we can see everybody again. I always have to miss Tony's Christmas ones and it makes me sad. oh tiffany, it's so good to hear about you guys. It has been terrible since you moved, especially because you keep coming around so I don't get to forget how much we miss seeing you.

You look absolutely gorgeous. Stop saying you look swollen and gross because you're one of the cutest pregnant girls I've seen.

Your house looks awesome and I'm still so sad that we weren't able to see it in person at your Christmas party. I know you said that you're not good at hosting things, but how about just one more party before baby boy comes...

And last, but not least I felt EXACTLY like you do at this very point last year. So stressed with everything I had to do, not to mention getting everything ready for Hazel, etc... All I can say is, don't stress. Somehow, someway it all gets done. Best of luck. miss you guys!

P.S. Thank you for the candle. The poppyseed bread that was supposed to come to your house was instead eaten by us. I'm not sure where you live and I just never got around to finding out before we left for the holidays. It's the thought that counts right?

Haha that is so funny that you want to go out again! I think I would miss it a little too. It is fun to go to a new place and meet new people. Zak got my hopes up a couple months ago because they were thinking about Hawaii!!!! That is funny you said that... but it would NEVER happen anyway. He should've never told me that.

You are so not huge!!!!! you are tiny! your mom still looks the same! I am so excited for you to have a baby! you will be such a cute mom. I always drive by your old house in Bountiful and it reminds me of when we used to play there and I thought that play house with the doorbell was pretty rad!
