Have you seen those commercials for "My Baby Can Read" on tv?
Well... I didn't buy them... and I'm not really trying to teach Ty to read, but he LOVES when I read to him. Since I've spent most of my time the last 3 years teaching other kids to read, it has just turned into a habit I guess- and when I read the words I always track the print with my finger. We'll do picture walks through the books, talk about the different things we read- and just plain read-and Ty is catching on fast :) The last few days whenever there is a book anywhere in our house Ty grabs it, picks it up, flips it open to the first page, points to the words or the pictures, and just starts babbling. I LOVE IT!

ALSO... I would've been uploading videos like crazy if I would've known it was so fast!
I don't think my baby is gifted and talented (lol) but I am SO glad that what I'm doing with him everyday seems to be paying off!
He is just the little love of my life!

That's awesome Tiff! He is a kindergarten teacher's son. If only all my kids could track print that well when they came into school. You are doing wonderful things with him and he is so cute! Miss YOU TONS!!

adorable!!! I have to admit, I don't think babies should read (all the developmentally appropriate practice talk form Farol I suppose), but I am so curious about My Baby Can Read and if it really works. Just don't want to spend the money! Ty doesn't need it-what a great little reader. McKynlee chews on books-does that count?
That is so stinking cute! And with you as a mom he will end up gifted and talented I am sure :).
